Troubleshoot:Admin profile won't load correctly, put into "temp user", want to transfer files to new account. Error

Admin profile won't load correctly, put into "temp user", want to transfer files to new account.

This problem began last night, when I accidentally flipped the power switch that my computer was plugged into to "OFF".
After prompty turning it back on, I discovered that my Admin and Only profile, other than Guest, would not load correctly.
I'm assuming
that it's corrupted in some way, so I attempted to run a System Restore to 11/02/10, this problem occurred on 11/04/10.
The next day when I attempted to access the admin profile yet again, the same problem occurred.
I then began to read troubleshoots online
and came across a solution that involved making a new User Admin and copying the files from my other user to this new user.
Also, it may be important to note, that when I booted my computer back into Safe Mode, it said that System Restore had failed and nothing had changed.
Anyway, I began to set my documents so that the System files and hidden files could be seen, but none of the files/folders I wanted to transfer would appear.
What can I do about this? Any help would be appreciated.
Also, I attempted to run "Repair Computer" from the Safe Mode window to run a start-up repair.
It responded, telling me that there were no problems.
I then attempted to run another System Restore and cannot find a restore point any farther back than the
current date, which would not help.

Solutions to the Problem Admin profile won't load correctly, put into "temp user", want to transfer files to new account.
